Aw, what's the point? Everyone thinks that all rookie QB's will either have incredibly accelerated growth like Ryan and Flacco, or that the eventual success of QB's with 10x Sanchez's talent who had rough starts (P.Manning, Aikman, etc) automatically passes on to Mark Sanchez. My favorite is the assumption that starting him all year long will get all the learning and bad stuff out of the way so we're contenders next year. Yeah, right. Football doesn't work that way because you want it to work that way. He's ready when he's ready, and not before then. Hopefully he bounces back today.
