The Jets knocked out the Pats, 28-21, at Gillette Stadium, and they celebrated on the field by flipping off the Patriots fans who remained in attendance, among other things Branch wouldn't get into. "It was a lot of classless play on the football field after the game, but you have to expect that from some of the guys over there," Branch said. Branch was visibly distraught by the Jets' actions, and he said he was "embarrassed" by their foul activity. "I'm a champion, and I'm always going to congratulate the guys on the victory," Branch said. "They beat us [sunday]. They beat us when it mattered, so the ones with class, I shook their hands. The other ones, I didn’t. They don’t deserve my nor my teammates' congratulations for them to act like that. You can tell they're not used to being in this position." In my eyes I just gained a lot of respect for you on this, because you came down hard on LT after that. I wish you'd tear into Branch the same way, but this is better than nothing and does show at least consistency. Branch is being a whiny loser right now. He doesn't look like much of a champion to me, being out of the playoffs and all. Further, the Jets have now beaten the Pats 3 out of 5 in Sanchez and Ryan's 2 years here, so I'd say the Jets are used to beating the Pats. The main difference being the Chargers didn't previously mock the Pats. The Pats mocked the Jets and now the Jets are rubbing the Pats face in sh-t. I have no problem with celebrating but if you're going to preach against it like LT and Branch, don't do the exact opposite when things are going your way.
