hawk
With the coaching display tonight, I am applying for a greeter position, and I think I got a pretty good shot at a NFL head coaching position.

JPPT1974
Peyton really is struggling to understand it is Gary K's offense and if it was his offense, meaning PM, then he would not have this struggle.

Ex-Rex
To be fair, Peyton Manning doesn't look good at all. Manning is a shotgun QB who does not do well under center because he has old legs. In the gun Manning is still capable of taking defenses apart as he did once KC took the lead at 24-17. From the gun Manning dissected the Chiefs D and Andy Reid showed why they let him go in Philly with that God awful call that made his best player have to take responsibility for the loss. Glad to see someone has bought in 100% to the excuse makers who just cant envision a 40 yo QB losing it. Hes 40, not 60, his legs can go back 5 steps. These are mindless excuses that ignore he sucked the last 6 games a year ago and in the playoffs
Joe W. Namath
Kubiak is trying to teach an old dog new tricks. He should have either gone w/ Osweiller and run his offense or stick w/ peyton and run peyton's offense. Her tried to get the best of both worlds and it didn't work. He should ride out this season running Peyton's offense, cut Peyton in the offseason and install his offense under Oz next year.

Kubiaks 9 year NFL career as a QB resulted in 14 tds and 16 picks and he's telling Manning how to play offense?? Unbelievable..

Jet Nut
he looked pretty decent when it seemed he was running more his style again seriously, he was off all of last year and got worse as the season went on. Manning being Manning everyone fell over themselves to let go off claiming he must be injured. You can't beat age, he had a bad run a year ago and it hasn't gotten better this year. Passes flutter, the nose of the ball pointing down as his passes come up short. He old, if he's the same guy from the past Kubiak isn't a question. Manning would never struggle with a change of coordinator.

Soon Father Time will be knocking on Brady's door as well.. exactly, you can't cheat time. It's kind of funny to hear Mannings backers look for everything to blame his collapse a year ago and poor play this preseason and in their first two on everything but the most obvious. He's a dinosaur for a football player. I hope Brady plays long enough to do the same. He says he will play to 45 so...

Manning would never struggle with a change of coordinator. he was off ALL of last year? granted he faded down the stretch...and of course he's not the same as a younger manning but still.......his stats last year were 66% completion rate, 4700 yds, 39 touchdowns and 15 interceptions. not to mention that his team won 12 games (if you are the type that likes to judge qb's by wins). if we had a qb that could do that we'd all be lining up to suck eachothers dicks over our elite franchise qb. he didnt play 4 quarters of great football thursday....but kubiak needs to put him in the best spot to succeed. and constantly under center is not it for him now. he ended up having a decent enough game once he was playing in more of his element. you have peyton manning for a qb you don't try to change him, especially at 40 yrs old. you run the peyton manning offense and you live or die by it, or you get another qb
Jet Nut
I said the last 6 games and playoffs a year ago. He's been sacked, rushed, throwing short, wobbly inaccurate passes out of the shotgun too. Its going to to get worse as the weather gets cold and windy. sackdance
Was the entirety of this thread made during the first half of Thursday night's game? Again, the Broncos are 2-0, in good shape with a sharp defense, and their fanbase is pumped up. You would think something entirely else is happening in Denver. Apparently we think Kubiak is a stubborn football ideologue that is more interested in executing his hand drawn x's and o's than in winning games. I wouldn't bet that Elway-Kubiak-Manning can't figure out the best way forward from here.
