As a matter of fact, they did.

Unless you see a star actually  crawling with a broken leg. Most reported injuries of stars are  bullcrap.

San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa has a "significant" ankle sprain and will miss the rest of the preseason, general manager John Lynch said Thursday morning.

Lynch told KNBR Radio in San Francisco that Bosa, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2019 draft, does not have a "full blown" high ankle sprain, but there are "elements" of that injury.

Jack Youngblood played the second half of an NFC Championship game and a Super Bowl on a broken leg for a fraction of the money Nick Bosa got in his rookie deal...Nick Bosa goes down in  non-contact minicamp and again in training camp before he plays a down of a preseason game...much less having done anything when the lights come on for real.

Bosa doesnt look like a player who can or wants to play through pain. That alone is enough for me to not want him.

Playing through pain in preseason is dumb. A strain needs rest to heal. If he plays through preseason he goes into the season injured. An extremely dumb move for a guy who is definitely not at risk to lose a roster spot.

I think the niners are going to be awful this year.  The qb stinks.

Daniel Jones is a franchise QB.  You saw that in his mediocre record and play at Duke.  Before he throws a single NFL pass.

Jimmy G, with his much better play etc, in the NFL and his 8-2 NFL record etc stinks.

Just wanted to check that LOL

To me the one stands out is the Jets Al Atkinson played the SB as a LB with a separated shoulder.

Really didn't want this guy.  Two serious injuries.  Expect more to come.

Holy sh*t! So this guy hasn't played a significant game since when? Then he misses his entire 1st preseason in the NFL, think about how long its gonna take this guy to get in football shape & we're not talking about COLLEGE FOOTBALL shape, we're talking the NFL where every guy he lines up against is better than anyone the guy faced in his short time in college. Jets get LUCKY AGAIN! 2 years in a row! I never thought I'd say this but Chris Johnson must have a horseshoe up his azz, but whatever is going on lets hope it continues.

Thank you Donald Trump for getting Woody away from this team.

My point is this guy is the second coming of Chris Chandler AKA Crystal Chandelier... his track record going back to Ohio State is he gets injured...ALOT. It doesn't seem to take much and once he is hurt he is off the field for long stretches of time. While this time it is an ankle sprain, Bosa is prone to soft tissue injuries which call his football fitness into question... as has been said before... It's hard to make the club in the tub. This year and probably next year he's safe because of his contract and draft position...but if it carries into year 3 they will start considering hanging the bust sign around his neck as they escort him out the door...

You mean= you read a story he played with a broken leg. You can't prove it True to save your life. Just folklore/myth. Or worse yet, he was forced to play with it.

What a load of bullpucky..if his leg had actually been broken and they numbed it. He'd have fallen all over the place all day,  it was a STORY.

Dr. Hackenberg, that would be true of a compound fracture, not a break or crack.

It wasn't a compound fracture, obviously. Fake news.

Your point is what?  Quoting what you read doesn't make it real. It means they are creating a narrative. They will either win without him, or they are making absolutely  sure no real injury occurs , as he will be having a great year. Him and his brother are in the league because  his dad played for miami. Both will be in the league a long time.

Lol, lynch said: He does not have one. There are elements, this  means, he has an ankle ,we made up the rest.

My point is you said he does not have a significant injury.

My point is, according to ESPN, he does, and he is missing all of pre season, which is significant for a rookie.   If you want to believe he is basically fine, so be it.
