I'd add the tuck rule.  Might have been the 'right' call by the revised rules, but it was just awful.

But yeah, the Saints call was the worst I've ever seen.  Not sure anything else could ever come close.

Tuck Rule was straight theft.

Yeah but we got the Vinny Testaverde phantom touchdown call.

Austin Seferian Jenkins should be no. 1 on this list. That was a catch

We got screwed big time.

I hope the Seferian-Jenkins TD catch against NE in 2017 is on the list.

The Vinny TD against Seattle in 1997-8 season. That was a classic, and for once, helped us.

That play had no bearing on how our season played out. Win or lose we would have had the same playoff seeding. The 1997 horrible interception call against the Lions, cost us the playoffs.

Agreed, but  this thread was about worst calls of all time. That call would certainly rank in the top of such a list, regardless of whether or not it impacted a playoff spot.

It was a horrible call and it cost the Seattle Seahawk HC, Dennis Erickson,  his job.

That was really bad - he was almost 1/2 yard away and the refs called TD.

The Testeverde touchdown call was so bad it became the posterboy for replay

No, 4 years of never winning more than 8 games got him fired and while the Vinny call was awful it came right after an awful call helped Seattle.  Keyshawn caught what should have been ruled a TD when he was shoved out of bounds in the air but they called it incomplete out of bounds.

i'll tell you what, it looks a lot closer than i remember it.  it almost looks like the ball just barely made it to the stripe in one of the replays.

All of the calls made by Jerry Seeman that Monday night against the dolphins in 86. We lost 45-3. And every penalty the jets made he was smiling.. I swear we coulda won that game
