Fly in and out of Chicago… the cost was about 1/3rd. Also, plenty of later flights so you don’t have to race out of there. It’s a bit of a drive, but better than GB itself. I did the same thing, but I was able to get an airbnb by the stadium for what will end up being ~200 a guy when everything was said an done, which seems to be a minor miracle. More to do for a whole weekend. All the decent hotels in GB were full by the time I looked, which was only a week after the schedule was released.
