QB1 is obviously the big question and what draft picks are showing up but, yeah, this is the team, pretty much 

Safety looks like a problem even after chuck clark and DT looks real thin besides QW. Unless they are planning on shifting JPM and Clemons inside...

Thought they should’ve moved JFM inside more last year. Wouldn’t be mad about that at all. Might need one more body at edge. Do think a DL is their best way to get immediate impact at a premium position if they hang on to 13. Think Van Ness is a good short term long term play who’d fit on that side where JFM plays. And honestly Clemons can play there too. There are guys I’d like if they move down as well. Cancey would be a terror on passing downs.

What we're looking at today and what the opening day roster will be should be quite different.

New starters at QB, OT, C, DT, and S with a new LB who should see a big chunk of playing time.  Should see a new QB2 over Zach but not sure we will.

the Jets have like 6 draft picks and you listed 6 needs assuming one of those picks goes to rodgers you're basically saying JD is going to draft a starter with every draft pick 

seems unlikely

While it may not grab the splashy headlines, it's not uncommon for teams to find staring players in free agency after week 1 of FA kicking off.  In fact, the Jets added Duane Brown and Kwon Alexander just before the season kicked off.  Both starting caliber players who ended up starting.

Look at the list of remaining free agents and you'll see  that while they're not the names every fan has heard, there are tons of starters still on the market.  The Jets will sign some of them.

The Jets have six picks but can also trade back to add more picks.  So as of today, we don't know how many players the Jets will pick.

Teams will also let players go just before the season starts for a variety of reasons.  Starters are sometimes found that way.  Remember Pete Kendall?  Went from starter to free agent to high level guard for the Jets in very short order.
