Its more like why does Zach Wilson have attackers. He has been gone for almost 6 months and the New York Media is still writing articles about him.

so you think Vinny T wasnt a waste of a pick because he had 3 good years out of 20? which BTW did nothing for the team that drafted him. think TB was happy with that pick?

Geno is a waste too. we drafted him. what did he or Sam Darnold do for us? nothing same as Zach. so they were wasted draft picks.

you do understand that a #1, 2 or 3 pick in the draft should turn out to be a great player for the team that drafts him. it doesnt turn out to be a good pick 9 years and 4 teams later if he has one or two good years.

It will be interesting to watch what becomes of Zach in the next couple of seasons. Judging what Sam Darnold has showed us I expect Zach to get a significant number of starts. But not very many this year.

BTW stop letting the media put Blinders on you. There is much to be written about the current Jet Coaching Staff.

You missed my point. Vinny turned it around after 10 miserable seasons in the NFL. And talk about weird made absolutely no progress in those first 10 years. Vinny won only 4 games each year in his 8th, 9th and 10th years in the league. Then in 1998 he wins 12 games and loses 1. Do you think Vinny was magically transformed in the 1997 - 98 off season ? And Jet fans seem to think we have seen the best out of Zach after only 3 seasons ?

Vinny was also 6’5 240 with a rocket arm. He had a good year in Baltimore before the Jets season. He stuck around the league because he  had size and an arm.

Zach can’t read a defense, can’t make a decision in under 3s, flees clean pockets as if they are Fukushima, and has been the most inaccurate starting QB in the NFL over the last 3 years.

Other than those minor details, Zach Wilson has been all-world 🤣🤣

Vinny was also super athletic. His career was a major disappointment, but he stuck around bc of his size and I have to imagine he was well liked in the locker room. Jeff George stuck around because of his arm.
