Having tua get paralyzed, die etc on the field would be a catastrophe for them. Tua stinks and the Dolphins are an irrelevant franchise. Why would the nfl take even the littlest chance on this. There is 0 benefit for the nfl to ever let him play again. But a very probable pr and financial nightmare if they do. They did let Hamlin back and he did in fact die on the field. Greed/stupidity knows no boundries.

Actually, “1 in a million” in the NFL would happen about once every 34.6 years (not including playoffs).

Not debating although does that happen to Hamlin without the hit? my point of responding is trusting the nfl to do the right thing. most prob feel Tua should retire. not sure the nfl would be 100% in step especially if there is a doc that clears him

They need to get out in front of this cause if he plays again, he will get concussed, he will have that seizure type reaction and this time, he might not get up. A multi billion dollar business cannot take this risk w/ such a mediocre player on an irrelevant team.

Good call there will definitely be a “memo to file” in the legal department filing cabinet

He has worked with McDaniels before so he already knows some of their playbook and he’s intelligent enough to learn the rest on the fly. He’s 3rd on the 49ers depth chart so he would only cost a late round pick

None, because I don’t expect a respected neurologist to say the words “oh hell yeah”.

Doctors are very gun shy. They are all terrified of getting sued. The dolphins team physician can’t get sued personally for this but he could lose job with the dolphins and get a complaint filed with the state licensing committee by the NFLPA

But the Phish can't talk to him until after he completes his 2 Game Suspension which ends Sunday Night.

The NFL would have to have their own set of doctors review Tua's health and make a recommendation. I don't know for sure but I don't think that's how the league operates. Pretty sure it's up to team doctors and then Tua has to make the decision to keep playing.

papz187
Doesn’t matter. Jets likely 0-6 in division, pats look like a much better coached team. I should of bet 0-6 divisional games instead of 6-0 Sent from my SM-F741U using Tapatalk
