I don't know if I'll pay for the premium portion, haven't thought about it..but I will still post there and will still interface with friends there.. and here...its no big deal people Some of our biggest threads have been JI-related. For better or worse, people have alot to say about it and we don't censor it at all. If someone wanted to come on here and start a four hundred page thread about how great JI was, we'd let that roll too. Hell, look at jetman's signature. I've said it before and I'll say it again, we're not in competition with anyone and noone--not Sooth, not Petrozza, not Tobin, etc--should feel like they need to "compete" with us. No need for JI anymore. I don't know Sean personally, but I wish him good luck. The bad part for him is that he's most likely going to lose a good portion of his regulars. Is it worth it? Maybe, if he can break even or even turn a profit. But what about next year when all of those subscriptions need to be renewed? Unless the exclusive content is absolutely out of this world, who's going to pony up another $55? How are they marketing the site to attract new subscribers? In short, what sets them apart from the rest? Where's the sizzle? What kind of "exclusive, inside information" can I expect to hear? I hope they're not counting on only Cannizaro and Lyons for their exclusives. I hope Sean's looking at this whole thing from 10,000 feet, because on the surface, it appears to me it's destined for failure. If not this year, then the next. I personally have no problem with it. I would not pay $55.00 to view "premium content", but people are entitled to do whatever they wish.
