Smizzy
The New York Jets signed punter Jeremy Kapinos to the active roster and placed wide receiver Laveranues Coles on injured reserve. The announcement was made by Jets General Manager Mike Tannenbaum. Kapinos (6-1, 235, Penn State) was signed to the Jets practice squad on November 27. He was originally signed by the Jets as a rookie free agent on July 2 before being waived on August 2.

Irish Jet
If we have seen him for the last time then all I have to say is, thank you LC. He gave everything he had for this team and he'll always be one of my favorites because of it.

WE need a true #1 reciever like it or not.Ive been saying this for the last 3 years. How blind can the front office and coaching staff be? You are so right. We also need a NT, a pass rushing OLB, another ILB, another CB, a LG, a RT, a true slot/3rd WR, etc. This front office and coaching staff really are blind. Don't they know you can just order all of these on the Internet?
SoFlaJets
"Hello Bengals front office? Yes hello this is Mike Tannenbaum GM of the New York Jets calling on the availability of one Chad Johnson? You see we need a new #1 WR for next season and feel that Chad would fit right in here...Jonathon Vilma you say? Straight up trade? OK done...send him over and yea he can bring all his crazy antics and that over-sized yellow hall of fame blazer-he'll need eventually anyway"

Problem is, no one else on the field can catch the ball besides chris baker. That makes it even harder for cotch.

Did you see the great punt he had in the 4th qtr last week? If Mcdroppins made a play you guys would have had the Pats pinned inside the 5. SoFlaJets
Marijuana is bad for you. I don't smoke weed-what? you think the guys we have now are any better? We NEED a proven veteran outside-because the only guy we have at receiver on the roster that is reliable is Jerricho Cotchery-Coles is close to being done and most probably gone anyway...Chansi Stuckey I had hope for but fear he may be one of those guys that never realizes his potential because of injuries

Coles who has been part of recent trade rumors has been playing in pain for weeks (high ankle sprain). On 12/16, JetNation made the recommendation that Coles shut it down for the season. To trade him and not get al legit proven #1 will keep this team going backwards It would unless we really improve the running game. If we had a decent running threat and could set up PA from time to time, I'm pretty sure Cotch could be pretty good #1. IMO we're going to have to address the WR position whether Coles leaves or not. 4HCrew
the Jets have running threats they just do not have road graders up front to create holes.. Leon and TJ are sufficient the O Line just blows
Irish Jet
the Jets have running threats they just do not have road graders up front to create holes.. Leon and TJ are sufficient the O Line just blows Leon is nothing more than a good chncge of pace back whereas Thomas Jones just looks like a washed up POS. He has no explosiveness at all, even when holes do for he tends to miss them. He will be 30 next year so at best he will have 2 decent years left in him. IMO th RB position needs to be addressed sooner rather than later. Get McFadden!!!
