Jetsfan80
You have to wonder if his football injuries led to his suicide; it would not at all be the first time. Very sad indeed; 23 years and a life over. Prayers for his family. RIP.

stoicsentry
OK I'm going to avoid any joke about how that is what you do when Kyle Orton is your quarterback, without actually avoiding it. Seriously, really, really sorry to hear any time something like this happens.

Darrellegivesmeaboner#24
Terrible to hear. I don't want to sound insensitive, but can you imagine what is going to happen if they determine that past head trauma could have lead to this tragedy... sirlancemehlot
So many good people suffer from debilitating depression, and never seek help or learn ways to manage it. Horrible that such a promising young life is lost. the lesson here: never be too proud to admit your limitations, and never be ashamed to ask for help. Poor kid could've benefitted from medications or therapy, but now he'll never have a chance. Best wishes to his loved ones and RIP.

NjJets4027
I feel horrible for this kid. I feel even more horrible for those who truly cared for him. Suicide is a selfish act.
Mandarinia
RIP I don't support suicide but I understand why, someone to have so much pain that taking their life is the only way to end that pain. It's sad and I don't condone it. My GFs father killed himself before we started dating, I never met the guy, and it really hurt the people that we're close to him, but I understand why he did it, doesn't make it right tho. visajets
Pain and stress many dont know what its like to deal with neither. We should as a group refrain from the negative comments. A young life was lost and the man has a family and friends. Amen
