Gaffneycatch Posted September 25, 2016 Share Posted September 25, 2016 I think you may be reading too much into this Doggin. I read that Howsare has been on the field for like 4 snaps all season. I think it could very easily just be a case of putting the guy they see as having more potential value onto the roster. From my understanding, B Marshall is likely to play, and if he doesn't, he'll be replaced by one of the young guys (likely J Marshall) on the outside, so I don't think it changes much for Quincy and his role. Now, if you're right that Bowman is the better backup for Quincy and what he does, then yeah, it makes sense to have him on the roster (not just this week, but in general). But that would be because Q can get injured, irrespective of what's going on with BM. Always respect your football thoughts, but I think I'm a bit skeptical that this says much, or anything, about Brandon's status (and I hope I'm right cause I'm starting him on my fantasy team ). NYs Stepchild Posted September 25, 2016 Share Posted September 25, 2016 MAybe the Jets watched the film on Davis, and Bostic and realized they whiffed on 80% of their blocks and thought they could try someone new.
