Nope - compromise is not something you want to practice in the early stages. My advice is to find someone that makes you forget about everything else around you and is always there at the right time. Passion is what will see you through a thousand rough seas and leave you wanting more. But passion is a chemical thing, inexplicable in all other sense than you just know. Until you find it, keep looking, or else you'll spend your life compromising. Nobody wants that - stand tall my friend and let passion be your guide so that when the time comes you'll say "stand back everybody - I'm about to hit that passage!"
