The VaGiants like the Cheatriots seem to get away with stuff other teams dont.

And coincidentally those are the teams most jets fans hate the most in recent times. I wonder if there could be some bias there. Nah jets fans, biased? Never!

it's still surprising that the giants still have the reputation for having all these classy high character guys... they've had LT, shockey, plaxico, jacobs, JPP, and now ODB the human torpedo

What did JPP do he might be a moron but is he low character because he is stupid and blew his finger off?

JPP is a jackass, I've thought so since I saw the video of him hazing amukamara his rookie season. And in the offseason he blows his fingers off when he's asking for a fat contract

Seems like a pretty low bar to be considered low character ha ha. I am glad you didn't know me at 24 years old.

Damn, I didnt hear about that. Thats some Chris Mills sh*t right there. Not sure if anyone remembers Chris Mills from the NBA. That dude was a straight gangsta.

What did Chris Mills ever do? Out of Arizona,  I rmember him with the Knicks.  Don't remember any gangster sh*t from him, except maybe Kentucky mailing his Dad cash.  Agent Zero is the one I remember keeping his gun on the bench near his locker while discussing gambling debts with teammates.

It was most def Chris Mills back when he played for Golden State. In the 2002 they played the Trailblazers, Chris Mills and Bonzi Wells got into it on the court and after Bonzi punched Mills right after the game ended. A fight broke out and both teams were on the court. Afterwards Chris Mills tried to get into the Trailblazers locker room but was stopped by security.

Chris Mills is originally from LA so he had a few friends at the game. This dude jumps in his car with his friends, waits for the Trailblazers bus to try to leave the parking lot and cuts off the bus with his car, bangs on the bus door and "requests" that Bonzi get off the bus. All this is happening while fans are still leaving the game and can see whats transpiring in the parking lot.

They refused to open the bus door and was trapped until police arrived. The bus had to get a police escort to the Airport.

He made the statement "Its not where you're from, its where you're at" a true statement. lol.

Dude is doing ballerina-esque twirls pregame and is offended when football players call him a fag???? Give me a break.

Every team in the league would love to have this ballerina on their team.   Players and people in general need to understand that you cannot go around throwing out homo-phobic slurs just as you cannot go out and dish out racial slurs.

It doesn't excuse OBJ's behavior on the field for 4 quarters.

It was the right decision obviously. If Beckham's comments were sincere, I think they were on point and fair. At least he finally took responsibility fully for his actions.

coughlin is still making excuses

I think that will be what gets him canned.  he looks like a desperate fool now

“To depict this as Odell Beckham being wrong and the only one wrong is not right,’’ Coughlin said. “It’s not fair, it’s not justice, it’s not the way it was. If you’re naïve enough to think that way then you better do some soul-searching yourself.’’

Beckham said all the right things.  He might even believe some of them but regardless, he took responsibility...didn't blame anyone else...and started his image rehab.  Coughlin looks like a bitter old fool who misses the point completely.  Later, Tom.

It's football, and a sh!tty excuse to act like an a**hole.

He really does, that presser was a joke Coughlin was probably the last coach I would think of that would make excuses for that BS.

agreed he used to me mr hardass, but now he needs beckham so bad to keep his job he is abandoning his ways.  sad

In Coughlin's defense, the Panthers were being very mean to Odell. There is no place in the NFL for meanies.

lol.  beckham is looking at a million more insults until he learns to walk away

Yeah, that whole line of attempted defense by Beckham and his cronies that "they were saying bad things to him" sounds completely childish. Unless Beckham really is gay, I would think he could separate trash talk from reality. I haven't yet heard an NFL player not mention with a chuckle how nasty guys get in the trenches or on the field trying to bait their opponent. Might not be pretty or PC, but it's deep in the fabric of high-level sports. Beckham has not done himself a favor by making himself into a carnival act before games and acting like a complete prima donna. Teams are well aware that he is thin-skinned and hyper-sensitive on many levels, including getting angry because he is bumped and covered tightly. It will be very interesting to see how his career evolves. He's an tremendous talent, but unless he has the emotional toughness to stay focused on his craft, he'll implode.

Why would it matter if he is actually gay?  That doesn't make it more of a slur.

The whole thing reminds me of when they want to get the stud out of the game in the movie Fast Break.

Im sure Cindy Brady is called a fag every game and it doesnt affect his play. Odell the balerina needs to grow a pair

Calling you a f@@@@t when you're gay is truly a slur. Calling a straight guy the same thing is a joke. It has no substance. Now it's a slur in a general sense, you're right. But if someone called me that, I'd shrug and shake my head because it doesn't apply to me at all. It only bothers you when it hits a nerve. If you ain't got the nerve, it don't hit.
