Paradis
What exactly is our high paid FS doing out there? A lot's been made about our over payed, and underachieving secondary... and Marcus' name continues to be an afterthought. Where is he making an impact exactly? joewilly12
Gilchrist is too inconsistent and disappears quite often.
jetsjets
Not sure why Gilchrist is being pointed out. Revis and Williams play so far off their receivers, all you have to do is throw the quick out or WR screen and we will never be able to stop it. Pryor finishes every play the same, on the ground. And Skrine grabs on every play.
KRL
He was good last year but didn't start off this season very well. Hopefully that changes
Beerfish
With the kind of pressure we got last game and might sustain this year there is zero excuse for the scenario being that terrible. Our secondary is not good but we got schooled so bad in the coaching dept last game it was embarrassing.

nico002
If we make the 25 yard fg did we still get schooled in the coaching dept?
thshadow
Well, in the alternate universe where we made the 25 yard fg and won by 2, we definitely won in the coaching dept, because that idiot Cinci coach, down by 5 at the end of the game, ran on first and second down, then opted to kick a FG to still be down by 2 instead of going for it on 4th and 2. Tinstar
Question that needs to be asked, is this. Did Gilchrist play any part in allowing any of the big plays that occurred against the secondary on Sunday ? Did this player perform the duties that were his requirements ? CrazyCarl40
Gilchrist was the best player in the secondary all last season. He looked poor against the Bengals because Skrine, Revis, and Williams were so poor in coverage. Their stain ended up on him. He is far from the problem in the secondary. pointman
His name didn't get mentioned much at all. Sounds to me like he isn't a ballhawking dynamo... but he's also not part of the problem.
