Maxman
Kenny threw for 25,094 yards in his career. Hard to believe there were 69 guys that were better.
Maxman
Bob Griese is 2 yards behind in 71st place. That has to really burn him up. So close, yet so far away.
TuscanyTile2
Going forward I think he should only be referred to on JN as "The Great Ken O'Brien". That, or "Kenny The Great".
DonCorleone
It is hard to imagine where some all time greats would be if they were behind center on some of those horrific OLs that O'Brien was behind. I remember the beatings he took in some games and granted that his lack of mobility was a factor, but shees, sometimes the defender was there before the ball

Guess who sits right in front of him on that list? None other than our very own conquering hero, Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Kenny is only a bad QB in the sense that he was taken ahead of Marino. Led the AFC in passing for a couple of years. Made a couple of Pro-Bowls. Not good pocket presence but to be fair the Jets OL was nothing in the mid to late 80s

The only playoff game won during his era his backup won after Ken was benched then a week later we would have beat Cle if the backup didn't get hurt forcing Ken back into the game. Ohio State NY Jets fan
Pat Ryan brought the fire and won the playoff game when he was given a chance, I wonder if young Petty can learn from that and take this team to the promised land, if they give him the chance

He took a pounding, tough dude.
