bla bla bla
I understand the thought but the Manning's are only interested in owning a team, we will never see a scenario where Peyton wants to coach.
joenamathwouldn'tcry
Peyton Manning is an egomaniacal a$$hole who makes really shi**y commercials. Let's let him stick to that .

Art Shell was a perennial All-Pro as a player, so he's a star. He was very good his first coaching stint with the Raiders, but should never have returned several years later. slats
Former #1 overall picks aren't the guys you see coaching. It's the late picks or undrafted guys who really had to take to coaching and work on their craft and put in the extra time in the classroom and the gym who are better equipped to teach on the next level. Most of these former QB QB gurus were marginal players at best but without the incredible natural ability, they had to become as technically perfect as possible to just hold onto a roster spot. Guys who have the game come easily to them often don't know how to, or simply can't, explain what they're doing - they just do it.

thebuzzardman
Do the Jets have any female trainers? Might need to fire them all before hiring Peyton.
Rexorcism
Serious question: imagine that he actually got the job- do you think he would do well? im trying to understand if you guys are laughing because he would never coach or because you actually don’t think he’d be capable.Give Peyton a call and see where his heads at. Someone’s gotta take charge around here.

We are ok with Kingsbury who had a losing record at Texas tech and Rhule who has one year of Assitsnt OL coaching experience in the NFL but the idea of the most cerebral quarterback to ever play being the coach is laughable? You guys are so effing dumb. Hoping to god this is sarcasm.
