Popular Post T0mShane
We looked like a defense who spent a lot of picks on nose tackles and a box safety. We stopped the run, but paved an expressway into the end zone for the opposing passing game. As with Dallas, we match up well with teams that want to line up and run it thirty times, but we’re hopeless against literally any team with the ability to get the ball downfield.

I thought interesting that Jones didn't attack the middle of the field on us - maybe Hairston was just giving everything away... But after what Fitzmagic did to us last week I expected every other down to be a check down the TE for them all game...

Hael
Everything about this defense we knew more or less since the beginning. It's really not much different from last year or the year before either. Elite against the run, good at forcing three and outs. Some difficulty against pass attacks and a garbage pass rush. It will crumble against the upper echelon teams, so its far from a finished product, but its more than passable in this league. Its not entirely clear what all the money and draft picks spent in the offseason has really changed one way or the other. SHouldn't it have been clear to the coaching staff that our backup dts and lbs were pretty good against the rush and that therefore we didn't need to spend draft picks and money for FAs with the *very same* strength.
