Popular Post Charlie Brown 9,485
Nick said this...... “The fans are starving for quality football from the New York Jets, so that would be huge,” Mangold said. “My concern is that Houston seems to be really sticking to their guns, and they’re going to be asking for a full load of draft picks and probably everything else. For a team that I think has a lot of issues, that might not be the best course of action” and “It would be awesome to have a guy like Deshaun,” Mangold said. “He’s 25 years old and in his prime, he’s playing lights out and if not a top-five, definitely a top-10 quarterback in the league. It would be fantastic, I’m just concerned we have so many holes that even if we were able to trade for him, we wouldn’t be able to put the supporting cast around him to let him live up to the expectations that he’s already shown he can do.”
joewilly12 24,373
Nick Mangold a NY Jets legend. Met him at camp years ago great person. Heard he coaches Pop Warner football in his hometown in N.J. and has a blast doing it.

Notice Nick speaks in terms of “We” that is powerful and tells you he is a real Jet for life!!
k-met57 2,462
Mangold is the man. Loved the pick when he was drafted, loved him as a man beast C, and love him now...he just seems like a great guy.
Irish Jet 236,790
Loved him from day and only loved him more every day since. Would probably be a first ballot Hall of Famer on a different team. His early dominance was very underappreciated, wasn’t making probowls purely because he wasn’t snapping it to Peyton Manning. NYDreamer 713
One of my favorite drafts was selecting D'Brick and Mangold for our offensive line. We have that opportunity again with Sewell and another interior offensive lineman in this draft. Bookend tackles would be like Orlando Pace and Jonathan Ogden and adding a guy like Fanneca/Mangold/Mawae would be the most exciting offensive line for the Jets. 2
Jetpain 294 Posted yesterday at 06:01 PM Share Posted yesterday at 06:01 PM Interviews by Moose & Maggie are usually good as it cuts Maggies voice time down from 50% to 33%
