So no Sauce or Stingly?

If we draft Stingley, JD deserves to be dropped off of a cliff.

Stingley at 10 wouldn’t be a terrible pick if the edges JD wants and Sauce are all gone at 4. Stingley’s physical has checked out fine. He’s definitely back in play as the 2nd best option at cb. And we definitely need a cb.

News flash. Hill is fast.  No team should draft to stop a player they face twice a year for maybe the next two years.  Draft to build the team JD and Saleh want, not a team to beat the Dolphins. Who knows if Tua can even get him the ball?

Want to "stop Hill"? Build an offense that can both control the ball AND score 30+ per game.

Only idiots like Rex think the way forward in the NFL is through Defense.

Was listening to Connor Hughes on the Can’t Wait podcast and he said that Saleh’s defense has two essential positions. A DL that generates pressure and rangy safeties that can play centerfield well. He said that the system can thrive without a number one CB. Which leads me to believe there is no chance the Jets go CB in round one (or two for that matter).

He said the pick at 4 will be Ekwonu or Thibodeaux and the pick at 10 will be WR.

Lmaoo why do yall think 6’3 lanky long stride CB in Sauce gonna cover short shifty extremely fast hill one on one..

Right, I remember Antonio Cromartie playing pretty well for a while as a tall athletic guy. However, I also remember AC falling over from broken ankles regularly when trying to cover the smaller shifty guys. Sauce would be great for going against the taller WRs you see more often these days, but not the small speedsters of the game. The smaller guys have a lot more pick up, and a better center of gravity.

And a defense that can put his QB in the dirt or at least force an early / off target throw due to pressure in his face.
