Stingley at 10 wouldn’t be a terrible pick if the edges JD wants and Sauce are all gone at 4. Stingley’s physical has checked out fine. He’s definitely back in play as the 2nd best option at cb. A DL that generates pressure and rangy safeties that can play centerfield well. He said that the system can thrive without a number one CB. Which leads me to believe there is no chance the Jets go CB in round one (or two for that matter). Right, I remember Antonio Cromartie playing pretty well for a while as a tall athletic guy. However, I also remember AC falling over from broken ankles regularly when trying to cover the smaller shifty guys. Sauce would be great for going against the taller WRs you see more often these days, but not the small speedsters of the game.
