Popular Post Bronx
https://thejetpress.com/posts/jamal-adams-told-dj-reed-ny-jets-signed The NY Jets revamped their cornerback room in a big way this offseason signing D.J. Reed in free agency before doubling down and adding Sauce Gardner with the fourth overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. It remains to be seen how the unit will actually perform, but on paper, the Jets have one of the deepest cornerback rooms they've had in a long time. Reed, in particular, has taken to his new home in stride, and he's done so with a little guidance from a former teammate who also happens to be an ostracized former Jet. Former All-Pro safety Jamal Adams, a name that should be very familiar to Jets fans, offered some advice for Reed after leaving the rainy clouds of Seattle for the bright lights of New York. And given Adams' history with the organization, it comes as somewhat of a surprise that the former top-10 pick had nothing but kind words to say about the city and the Jets' fan base. Jamal Adams praises the NY Jets when speaking to D.J. Reed When speaking to the media following Wednesday's practice, Reed revealed that Adams told him it was all "love in New York." Adams borrowed his famous catchphrase to discuss Reed's new home, and he did so in complimentary fashion. Of course, even if Adams did bash the organization, it's highly unlikely that Reed would actually reveal what his former teammate said. Still, it's nice to see the team's former star safety letting bygones be bygones for the sake of his teammate. Adams' time in New York ended abruptly following an offseason of drama in 2020 that ultimately saw the three-time Pro Bowler traded to the Seahawks for a hefty package that would eventually net the Jets both Alijah Vera-Tucker and Garrett Wilson. The Jets are happy with the transaction, and Adams seems to be at peace with the move as well. As for Reed, he's looking forward to new opportunities with a new organization. It isn't often that Jamal Adams speaks about his time with the Jets in a positive light. This is a moment to savor. I suppose his friendship with D.J. Reed transcends any transgressions he had or still has with his former team. Just a side note, STFU if you like to criticize threads and never contribute by starting a new topic. This sh*t takes time and it is for the cause of helping this site which is on life support. Truly, just STFU. 3

First what I am about to say is not trying to be critical but after the way he went out and how he continued to be slaming the Jets over a year later, does anyone actually believe he was being complimentary? That said, @Bronx. I can't think of any way better to get a bunch of critical responses, than to write what you just did at the end of the article

If you are talking about the burrito tape thread, I only posted that here because it was the off-season and I was laughing hysterically when I read it. Honestly I would never eat one like that. Having a burrito fall apart in your hands and land in your lap is like a rite of passage. I just thought it was funny and The Crusher has a self depreciating sense of humor about his weight so I posted it but as I said, it's the off season. Meanwhile it’s the beginning of June with absolutely no new football news on a Monday morning and there’s at least 10 threads on the front page with responses all less than an hour old. If that’s being on life support then I’d hate to see the traffic if the board was thriving. For all the complaints there is plenty of good content and the only reliable place for Jets news 24/7 and 365 days of the year despite you being hindered by the so called thought police. 11

Makes sense less of the football smart posters are posting less right now than they typically do, considering there really isn’t much football to talk smartly about right now. Reality of this message board as far as moderating it is no matter what you do or try to do you will always be wrong with about half the people here. People always leave, sometimes they come back, sometimes they don’t. Not sure who we’ve banned for not being in lock step with the thought police. We did try to get a handle on the negativity but did that with a thread and not sure anyone was actually banned, though regretfully couple of my favorites decide to leave. It happens. 6

Interesting. Can you name a few of the clickbait/comedians you think ruin the site for everyone? And who are the smart football posters who have been banned or chose to leave? I didn't think this place generally banned anyone outside of N-word and Nazi spewing types. Where are all the smart football posters going to them days? 1
