My only change would be DL rather than Edge, but I like this one too.

I think we should prioritize QB and OT in free agency. With that in mind, I’m beginning to read more about prospects. There are a good amount of centers in this years class. I don’t have a point of view on who is best, but it seems like a deep class?

So EDGE and DL early. I love what I’ve read about Tyree and Siaka. LB, OC and DB in the later rounds… and a new kicker, lol

OK, one trade back. All the mocks I see provide ample opportunity at 13 because someone drops and it allows picking up another 2nd rounder. It also seems like there are a reasonable number of DL and DB free agents, so I prioritized accordingly. I don't think that we select 3 OL in the first 3 rounds, but 2/3 is a possibility. FWIW, I think our OL is in shambles. Loved picking up the QB (after Purdy at SF and even Davis in Houston we should always look for QB value in the back end of the draft) and added some badly needed LB help - both Sewell and Winters are excellent value in those rounds.

I don't understand the focus on EDGE after we spent 2 draft picks in 2022 there and still have Lawson. Just looking at the free agents, tough to find OL while DL and even DE are available. I hope we don't spend a first on a QB, either by trade or draft.

Value. I rarely ever do mock drafts based on need.

Just saw the worst Jets mock I've seen to date:  https://touchdownwire.usatoday.com/lists/2023-nfl-draft-three-round-mock-draft/

1st - Will Levis, QB - one pick before Skoronski; two picks before Broderick Jones

2nd - Nolan Smith, Edge - one pick before Schmitz

3rd - Tank Bigsby, RB - a few picks before Jordan Battle

I can almost live with JD taking a swing on Levis(assuming we miss out on the big QB options) IF the 2nd was Schmitz and the 3rd was Battle, or a pick that actually addressed some sort of need.  This though?  I would turn off the TV in disgust.

This felt good to me. Solid address of most areas of need/depth and a few big players to add power to our offense + an extra 1.

I like the trade back a lot. I like the Guard you added in late rounds and the focus on the trenches, but I struggle a bit with the TE in R1. Big question in your draft and most of mine is how big is the drop off in OT talent from #1 to #6?

Fair. I don’t know anything about the prospects yet. Reactions here help me.
