A wrinkle in this game is I only ha 4x protect. I protected Barry N1 cause I thought backup cop might make a good early game target for scum but that feels like a noob mistake at this point.

Extremely common to false claim a janitor kill with confidence it can’t be countered any longer.

I’m not saying one thing ir another about the validity of his claim, but I will say we have had limited usage powers here going back years - based on what mods think creates balance.

Of course it's a thing but it's typically 1 or 2. Never seen 4. On top of that it's usually balanced with a similar limited usage on the other side of the ledger.

Not trying to game the mod, speaking to balance and how things usually go. It's not impossible, obviously.

The timing of it and specific limitation of one more is just awfully convenient.

If we were confident scum was out of PRs we could vet it by directing NAs but I don't know if we can be confident in that.

If scum also had 4x they almost certainly didn’t bother using N1 and probably N2 until the pool really started narrowing.

I was very straightforward Barry. I breadcrumbed it D1 and tried to subtley point our cop in the direction before you called it out...even though as I typed it and sent it it felt stupidly obvious.  Quit Barney Fifing this up drputy. Or should I just call you Barry Fife.

Yes, convenient.

No, not unheard of.

I view it right now in the sane light as you being outed as deputy, then saying you didn’t even know you’re deputy, then wanting to use it as mod vetting you. It’s all stuff we’ve got to process.

I don’t think we need to vet him right now, frankly. If he’s lying scum, then he just outed himself. If you and jgb are both cop/deputy, then we have enough night phases to view the field, based on loose math.

Yeah i did. I didn't know he was cop then and made a foolish joke about not protecting him if i was doc.

It has been largely thematic with Barry that all of his casing vs me and now lurker is after-the-fact narrative. I don’t like it and cannot discern if it’s bad town play or scum trying to craft guilty optics.

My guess is with the mod handover the traps didn’t make it into the on-boarding which is why we haven’t seen anymore lol
