doitny
i dont know if there better than we thought, but we are facing a rookie QB in his 4th game. i trust Saleh and Ulrich enough that they will be able to confuse this kid and we should win without a problem. slats
Bo Nix is averaging 5.3 yards per throw. Their top two RBs are averaging 2.2 ypc (Nix leads the team in rushing, by far), and their #1 WR has been targeted 27 times but he’s only caught 12 of them. They have three offensive TDs, the Jets have scored 3 TDs every week. Nix has 0 TDs passing and 4 ints. The Jets defense should dominate this game.

Nix is a stud and combined w/ payton, he will be great! On 8/19/2024 at 2:25 PM, Joe W. Payton/Nix is a match made in heaven.

Yes, but the game could still be close, you just never know. At least Rodgers is there to steady the offense and guard against overconfidence. Any given Sunday, I get it, but -imho- the Broncos caught the Bucs with their pants down, and that game alone should alert the Jets not to do the same. A Super Bowl contender with the best roster in their history (which we supposedly are) should not have major problems defeating them. If the Jets are what people here say, they should handle their business, no problem, same as the Patriots (another likely bottom 5 team). We don't have to 'talk up' every opponent in some superstitious mantra. The Broncos aren't good, we're supposed to be VERY good. And the game is in NY, not Denver. This shouldn't be a close game. If it IS a very close game, or if we lose, that is not "aw shucks, Broncos are pretty good I guess" moment, it's a frankly big disappointment and let down by the Rodgers-led Jets. Agree with all of this except the last graph — a win in the NFL is never a “big disappointment.”

DoubleDown
The Jets match up with Denver very well and have beat them head to head twice in the past two seasons. They should take care of business and take one step toward showing they are the real deal this season.

Rhg1084
Rodgers still remembers what Payton said about his boy Hackett last year where he embarrassed him publicly. Rodgers is going to want to go full throttle in this one putting up a ton of points. Jets roll 38-
