Depends if the decade is from 2000-2009 (the "oughts"), or from 2001-2010. Let's say 2000-2009, since we normally think of things that way (the eighties, the nineties, etc.).

Boston

- 2 WS titles ('04, '07)

- 2 AL titles ('04, '07)

- 1 AL East title ('07)

- 6 playoff appearances

- 920 wins, 700 losses (.568) during the regular season

New York

- 2 WS titles ('00, '09)

- 4 AL titles ('00, '01, '03, '09)

- 8 AL East titles ('00, '01, '02, '03, '04, '05, '06, '09)

- 9 playoff appearances

- 965 wins, 655 losses (.596) during the regular season

I hate the Yankees as much as anybody, but this WS title probably gives them the mythical Team of the Decade title
