JetsFanFromQueens
What were you saying? How did we get "tricky" and stall our own drive. 3 points is a success with an 11 point lead heading into the 4th quarter.
JetsFanFromQueens
And its 4th down. Assclown And we put 3 points on the board. Awful throw from Sanchez, but good play call. He makes a good throw, it's a first down.
Ken Schroy
Sanchez missed Keller there because the play called for LT Agreed, and he had to get rid of it.
Bleedin Green
Keller wide open A whole lot of stars need to align for this team to actually score a TD, huh? So many dipsh*ts to overcome. But hey, at least he didn't thrown a pick 6... he's the better QB on the field, yay!

It's what typically happens... we get into the red zone, run goofy plays and don't score TDs. Do you actually ever watch this team play?

SMC
and yet the schotti-brained will blame him for calling a 4 yard pass on third and 6.. If you critize Sanchez as a 1 read QB, then you must assume that LT was his first read.
jason423
and yet the schotti-brained will blame him for calling a 4 yard pass on third and 6.. But its partially on Rex here too. This is what happens when you treat a QB like he cant play and is told to simply not screw anything up. The first read on that play is LT and Sanchez is so worried about a mistake, especially in the red zone, that he just takes that initial playcall rather than waiting it out and scanning the field, which he is allowed to do. Its one of the negatives of the Jets being good these past two years since Sanchez was never given opportunities to just try to take over a game. Do you actually ever watch this team play? true, callign "let the playclock expire" on first down was a bizzare call.. as was force the ball the LT and ignore the guy wide open in the endzone.. you have to wonder about what schotty is thinking, he should call TD's only down there

Bleedin Green
If you critize Sanchez as a 1 read QB, then you must assume that LT was his first read. You have to excuse CTM, he's really excited that this particular failure was clearly all on Sanchez, so he can't contain himself. I'm not sure anyone is even arguing that Sanchez missed an open receiver, but he needs to make sure he gets to pleasure himself to the thought as much as possible. jason423
def agree it all starts with rex... he's the one pushing us back to ground and pound when we clearly can't run it Whats strange with Rex yelling for all the ground and pound is that Tannenbaum hasnt build the team for that the last two years. Part of the reason guys like Holmes and Burress got shipped out of Pittsburgh is because they were never going to be dirty work players on an offense that was more or less a team that was only going to pass when absolutely necessary. Wayne Hunter is not the physical Damien Woody type. Neither Greene nor LT are workhorse backs that are just going to take a pounding up the gut every single play. The team has been built to attempt to pass the ball but they are still stuck in this whole Chadwickesque ball control style offense.

JetsFanFromQueens
Reggie Bush is averaging 7 yards per carry. Great find. What a way to nit-pick against a defense that's only allowed 6 poins. Even after the offense has struggled during the 1st half and even after our special teams put the Dolphins in scoring range after a Dolphins kickoff recovery.
