A big move (trade of FA) would have been broken by Shefty or Rap Sheet and I doubt he'd hold this to just talk about FA so far. I'm patting myself on the back for this one. That's exactly what the strategy seems to be. It follows the approach taken with Ryan Griffen. A guy on a one-year deal who is playing well gets an extension offer.
