We can fine tune this one a bit if needed in order to close the books on the Ultimate Starting Lineup. Does this not make you feel good about our current stating roster ??? Makes me feel like the 2020 Jets are the dream team. FYI. For this revised list, I am giving emphasis on length of playing time, order the player was drafted and monies paid out to the player. There may be players who sucked even worse, but their short tenure of suck-a-tude and lack of ever having aspirations of being a "player" makes them less attractive for this list. Of course, it may need some fine tuning, but I think we are close... Feel free to offer specific objections and suggest a better candidate. If the argument is there, I will revise until we have the ULTIMATE STARTING LINE UP OFFENSE 1. QB- Bryce Petty LT- Anthony Clement (also tried RT and was equally as bad) LG -Adrian Clarke C - Spencer Long RG- Vlad Ducasse (also tried RT too and he was equally as bad) RT: Austin Howard (over all performance even worse than Wayne Hunter play for play. TE: Jace Amaro RB: NEED INPUT ON WORST STARTING RB FB: Roger Vick (there were less skilled, but Vic was a high draft pick, played more than one season and he could not keep the ball off the ground) OR FB: Terminator (A Rex emotional reactionary draft pick and a perfect example of why you dont let him shop for the groceries too often) Pick One.... 28 minutes ago, THE BARON said: FB: Roger Vick (there were less skilled, but Vic was a high draft pick, played more than one season and he could not keep the ball off the ground) FB: Terminator (A Rex emotional reactionary draft pick and a perfect example of why you dont let him shop for the groceries too often) WR: McDroppins (there were less skilled WR's but McDrop had actual designs on being an actual quality # 2. Played a long time, collected $$$) WR: Steven Hill (same as above.... He gets the nod due to high draft, $$$ paid out and time team spent trying to get it to work) DEFENSE (since there is a 43 and 34 defense, I included 4 D-line guys and 4 LBs DE-Dorian Boose DT-Dwayne Roberts DT- need some input here. there is no clear answer for me DE-Quinten Coupels OLB- Gholston ILB-Anthonly Schlagel ILB-Sam Cowart OLB-Jamaal Westerman SS-Erick Smith FS-Damian Robinson (The Preacher's locker room snitch) CB - Tony Stargell (claimed he could be the best CB in the league) CB - Kyle Wilson (very high draft status, big thigs expected, was around for a long time, totally sucked and never got better) SPECIAL TEAMS P - Toby Gowin K- Doug Brien I just realized I have two FB's. Smith was also in on smashing Boldin's face. It was an accident for the most part. I was at that game. I thought Boldin was dead. I'm super glad it turned out OK. Boldin recovered and didn't miss a beat. Imagine getting your face smashed like that and then going right back at it with no fear ? That's a serious piece of manpower. Boldin also played brilliantly in the Cards Super Bowl that they should have and would have won if the league didn't send a Steeler friendly zebra crew to the game. I have no idea why you would put him on a list for poorly performing players. Harper a very good return man, could grab you a 3rd down conversion passes in the clutch, took hand-offs and zipped all over the place. Did it al. He was an exciting player. Agreed. He was a really fun player to watch. One of the big reasons I became a Jets fan.

It didn't look intentional - I seem to remember there was another DB there and the Boldin was trying to adjust to a tipped ball or something, when Smith - who had already left his feet - clobbered him right on the jaw. Smith was definitely a hitter, and Boldin was one of the toughest WRs I ever saw play the game.

Smith was closing in from the left Boldin was in the middle and another DB came from the right and pushed bolden down so that his head moved directly into the trajectory of Smith's face mask. Boldin is one tuff talented WR. I WISH the Jets could get a player like that. I also remember in that game that Favre was having a field day. The Jets offense was off the hook. I also recognized that Warner and the Cardinals were one super exciting team to watch. I had a feeling they would be tearing it up and they did. They should have gotten a Lombardi that year.
