Why was Berrios even on the field on that play from the 1 yard line.

Forget that we should be able to pickup a yard on the ground with three shots, why was our smallest WR on the field. Where was Davis, Mims, Wilson, even Moore who isn't tall but I would prefer they throw to him over Berrios. Berrios doesn't  catch many contested balls. Where were the TE's? I can't  believe of all the pass catchers we have, we wanted to go to him. Sure any of them could drop it as well but I don't  think they went tonBerrios once in the pass game before that. You saw who MN. Went to when they needed a TD pass in the 4th Qrt, it was Jefferson. We seriously couldn't  draw up a play to go to a different guy?

Berrios is none of those. He is fast and hard to tackle in open space. He isn't a guy that will create space in a crowded EZ and he certainly isn't  going to out muscle  anyone

The berrios play was the only acceptable red zone call we had in 6 drives.

Also on at least one play in Goal to go Berrios lined up on the outside.......Makes no sense, put your smallest receiver on the outside when you do not have much space as it is.........

Berrios has been the epitome of clutch and continually comes up big when needed.  The dude has caught every 4th down pass ever thrown to him before yesterday.  He has one costly drop and the whole board has turned on him?   What the actual **** peeps?

Berrios has been sure handed for the last 2 seasons and he operates well in small spaces. Players have bad moments occasionally and this was a rare bad moment for Berrios.

Not in a small space like an EZ. He created no space. In the open field, yes, he is hard to tackle, not in a small space. He created no space really which is why the pass had to be low. There were two defenders right next to him.

Yes, in small spaces.   It's almost like you dont even watch or pay any attention to the team ie; not knowing who Max Mitchell was after we drafted him.

Braxton is a perma fixture in Lil Mikey's RZ offense.  He has 2 rushing TD's on the season and he had 2 last year, in the same fashion.  They throw him the ball on screens and give him end arounds w/ in the 10 yard line because of his ability to make people miss in small spaces.  On the play that he dropped, he created separation in phone booth for White to get him the ball and had an extremely rare drop.

I think there is a difference between the skillset to run an end around which allows a player to get a full head of steam before turning up field or a bubble screen where if it is thrown to you, it means the DB is playing off coverage and you have room to make a move as opposed to an EZ with 9 guys in coverage.
