How Many Days Until March 15th ?

Recommended Posts

March 15 is irrelevant unless the Jets approach to coaching is radically different.

That can be a new coaching staff, or an enhanced coaching staff.  But what happened the last two years is not working, and no smart player will voluntarily sign up for it.

Get the QB coach from the 49'ers. He had no coaching experience before this year & he did a good job coaching up Brock Purdy...

Beware the medium talent qb being carried by a stacked team.   A lot of people loved sanchez when the jets had a stacked team.

In a time when it is hard to find a QB, people continue to have a problem with the Jets 2 AFCCGs based on sound coaching, strong defense and OL/running game, and a QB who can do some stuff.   Those were the best 2 years of Jet Football in the last 30 years.

Wilson won games based on the same approach.  But for bad coaching, Wilson being worse than Sanchez and a string of unfortunate injuries, he/MW would leading the Jets to the playoffs again.

So building a team the same and plugging in some type of QB, which could be a rehabbed Wilson (doubtful), is not a bad idea.

I wonder if the Pats are planning to re-sign Jakobi Meyers.

Meyers has been in the NFL since 2019. In his four-year career – all with the New England Patriots – Meyers has caught 235 passes for 2,758 yards and eight touchdowns. He had his career-high in receiving yards – 866 – last season and his career-high in touchdown passes this season.

Meyers has shown he is willing to go up and battle for a ball. At 6’2″, 200 lbs, he has the size and strength to go up against most NFL cornerbacks.

JD should get in touch with his agent....

Nate Davis was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the third round (82nd overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft.[1] He signed a four-year $3,810,648 rookie contract on May 30, 2019 with a signing bonus of $931,114 and a 2019 cap hit of $727,779.[2]

Davis was inactive for the first three games of the 2019 season and made his regular season debut in the Titans' Week 4 win against the Atlanta Falcons.[3] He got his first start in Week 5 and ended the season playing in 13 games, starting the last 12. During the season, he blocked for Derrick Henry who finished leading the league in rushing yards. The Titans finished with a 9-7 record and qualified for the playoffs. He started in all three Titans playoff games at right guard, blocking for Henry as he ran for nearly 200 yards in each of the first two games before the Titans lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship.
