This is a per 48 average line of 16+ and 4+ for three guys who are 6’4, 6’7, and 6’8. Then, Hart misses a free throw (OG and Brunson both missed FTs earlier, as well). Then, Thibs decides not to foul up by 3 with 10 seconds left and they let Maxey take the game tying 3 (dumb). Then, Thibs doesn’t call a TO to draw up a final play at the end of regulation (why not?) and OT was a lot of Brunson ISO ball with everyone just standing around and watching. Knicks had to do about 8 things wrong and Philly had to hit two miraculous shots and all of it happened. I will say, for as bad as I think Thibs botched the end of the game, I think he is the perfect coach to get them to move on quickly and regroup. We had them, but a few bad decisions robbed us of the win. 3 of 5 games we were the superior team & we won’t lose back-to-back games… no less 3 straight. It's high school level play. The free throws, the no TO, the turnover - everyone contributed. I'd love for someone to realize this is the playoffs and defend the perimeter w/ some intensity.
