What is with these 2 PM starts. Against Washington, against Pittsburgh and at Miami and NE. What is the NFL doing here. Or is this all in Central Time Zone?

Those 2 PM starts based on Central time I assume?

I edited his post to reflect EST.

I like this from a fans perspective:

1. They open up at home

2. Thanksgiving Day game

3. National game at night (home) vs Herm on 12/30

Only 1 night game and its Week 17? Bull**** that the Giants have I believe FIVE night games and the Jets only one, pure bull****. Also am VERY surprised that not one New England game is at least at 4:15pm as the national televised game. Them on opening day should be a very good and very interesting game.

Looks like most of us will be making our road game debut in Baltimore, as I am probably now most definitely going there since it is so early on in the season.

I'll wait 'til after the draft.

I'm with ARod on that-I want to see what the team actually looks like and what Buffalo and Miami do too-I KNOW New England is gonna be tough but we may be able to sweep the Fins and Bills this year instead of the usual split with Buffalo-so I will wait

That isn't too bad. We got off to a pretty slow start last year and if that happens again we will lose both the first two games. However, I think if we lose to the Patriots we will be fired up against the Ravens, But McGahee will probably have a nice day against us. I think with a solid draft we can pull off ten+ wins.

I do not see how any of you could be happy with the following.

- Starting out with New England and Baltimore

- 4 of our final 6 games, in a 5 game stretch to be exact, are on the road

- Only ONE prime-time game and that is Week 17 against Kansas City which could change back into a day game

- 0 Monday Night Games? Wtf?

- The Giants have 4 Sunday Night games and a Monday Night game while the Jets hold just 1 Sunday Night game, which could change. 3 of the 5 Giant games cannot change because they come before Week 10.

I guess I'm happy, yet pissed, probably more pissed, over this years schedule, but, I'll get over it.. just had to vent.

Nov 22 @Dallas 4:15pm L

Dec 9 Cleveland 4:15pm W

Dec 16 @New England 1:00pm L

Dec 23 @Tennessee 4:15pm W

Dec 30 Kansas City 8:15pm W

11-5, maybe they drop one of the last 2 games to finish 10-6. i would have given them a better chance at dallas but a short week on the road is not too favorable unless dallas is being overestimated this year.

overall i like the schedule. i think the jets will come out of the shoot ready to play winning 3/4 AFC games and will play tough down the stretch against their last 5 AFC opponents. i wouldn't be surprised to see the jets win 8 or 9 conference games this year putting them in a favorable spot to make the playoffs.

124 chill about the night games... the whole second half of the season is "flex" so the times above dont mean squat...

Maybe the NFL wants to make sure that the JETS are for real before they hand them primetime games... nothing wrong with being the underdogs again.

Unfortunately it's looking like I will miss the Baltimore game. The one game I was definitely roadtripping to is now set for the weekend of my good friend's wedding. No crab season for me this year, bummer.

On a bright note, I hear December 23rd in Tennessee is right at the heart of rib season. I vote for a Jetnation tailgate to Tennessee, no one gets any work done the week before the Holidays so we could start Friday afternoon and carry it through Sunday! Definitely going to Tennessee.

Plus, you know Brenda is in!;)

Looks like I'll be going back to the 'Nati in late October. Anyone else already eyeing some of the away games?

I would go to Cincy also, I hear they put chilly on spaghetti there. Miami is always near the top of my list as well.

Yes, I like food.

Miami here I come -- Dec 2nd

I am upset by the lack of respect as well about the prime time games -- WE did make the PLayoffs last year did we not -- Hell even Buffalo gets a Monday nighter -- anyway in the long run it dont mean squat

and the Cowboys get 5-6 prime games -- Americas team (gag) or not the man love the NFL has for them has got to stop --
