Maxman
So check this out. Bill Parcells was the driving force behind Reputation getting put in place here. A few people requested it but his non-stop crying was what really got it done. That's not the point I mean we all know he cries everytime he doesn't get his way. So when I set it up, he gave me the exact criteria to use. Totals, etc. Anyhow I just looked through the Reputation logs. When Bill Parcells leaves a rep he has like 778 points. Thor has 78 or so. Okay so this is based on post count somehow? Smizzy and Max have 100 points. Bill Parcells has almost 800. What is the moral of the story? Don't mess with Bill! Thai Jet
How can you tell how many points you leave? Good question Troll. Also does anyone know where to see the different "levels" of rep that exist? The # of green bars remains constant after a certain point.

Maxman
What cracks me up is the people who don't like the reputation option. They have the choice to disable which some have. Yet they feel the need to comment on it every chance they get. Interesting. This thread is clearly labeled which makes it very easy to avoid. Almost forgot, i'm just saying. Maxman
I found the problem: How many reputation points does an administrator give or take away with each click? Set to 0 to have administrators follow the same rules as everyone else. It was set to 100. You no longer have to be nice to Bill.

It happens so often that I really have no other choice! For example back in the day I said you were a good poster and that you understood sports like few women do. History certainly proved me wrong on that one.

There have been numerous threads about rep that i never responded to. I forgot all about rep until one day i logged on and it was enabled. It's not a big deal, but that's not why i thought this thread was ghey. BTW, it seems like almost everyone has the maximum number of little green boxes going, so there isnt any apparent variation in most people's rep. Just sayin. Now that there actually exists a FUNCTIONAL way to opt out of the system I agree with you Max. Consenting adults in the privacy of their own..... etc. Nevertheless the fix was a relatively recent one and many of the threads to which you refer were actually drawing comments when the opt-out option was not functional. Yeah thats my beef with the system... the levels need to be raised for people so that not everyone has the max amount of green bars...

I thought you would take inside secrets from one website and give them to another website. What I was afraid of was having that happen to us. Man was I wrong. Instead you do it for us.
