It will be tough to make the playoffs if the Jets do not play better. NE is 6-2 as well. Both the Ravens and Steelers will likely be 6-2 too. And that's not even accounting for the Colts who you would expect would win at least 10 games this season, and of course the AFCW gets at least 1 team into the playoffs.
