Fitzpatrick - NO RESPECT, even in NYC!

That's what happens when you suck in the games that actually matter and don't make the playoffs. From the looks of things fitzy just likes having a long vacation instead

Yes, but players like Carson Palmer and Peyton Manning, who threw horrible 4th quarter passes that were fortuitously dropped by defenders and got the luck of turnovers and deflected passes for TD's get to march on! Give it a rest. Jets team was horrible against the Bills. Enough said. Time to move on.

Ah, ok...so playoff games aren't important. A QB can only throw the ball...when the team drops 7 or 8 balls in a game, the receivers choked. Even on the INT in the end zone, there is some question that Decker should have cut inside McKelvin. They got the look they wanted, and it was a timing throw. Second INT was largely on the o-line, and the third was a desperation heave.  Had the defense not allowed Buffalo to possess the ball for forty plus minutes and receivers held onto the ball, not to mention the horrible special teams play, Jets win game easily. But yes, easy to pin game on Fitz, but big picture reveals the team and coaching staff as choking.

fitz had plenty of INT's that were dropped by defenders too, so what's your point? He's the 29th most accurate passer in the league

it's amazing the excuses people will come up with to defend a weak armed, inaccurate, career loser like fitz

the team sucked no doubt about it but Fitz was terrible.  There is no question on the INT in the EZ, the others maybe he can get a pass but not the one in the EZ which was the biggest one.

The D was just as guilty, they were brutal but when you have never been to postseason and this was the biggest game you have ever played in and you play terribly you will get criticized and deserve it.

Ah..f*ck it. Players want him back. Coach and management as well. You're likely stuck with him. Sucks to be you. The pain and agony you must be going through.

no it sucks that we're going to waste another season. But I guess you don't care if the team loses or not, I'm sure you'll have another laundry list of excuses for precious fitzy boy next time too

And what's the alternative?

Play Petty? Go back to Geno? Sign another mediocre FA QB for more $$$ than it will take to resign Fitz? Draft a QB in the first round and throw him into the fire? Not sure what feasible options we have for next year.

there's a lot of things that can happen, trades/draft/free agency... the offseason is a very exciting time of the year so let's have a little imagination here and embrace the possibilities
