Thursday Night Football. 7:30 PM Eastern Time. JetLife Stadium.

Lets go Jets, lets head into the regular season 3-1.

Disappointed. Expected the textiest gameday thread ever.

That said, Gary Myers is a douche bag. 1029 days since Plaxico last played a game. How many hours, Gary? Seconds? How many Mercury years is that?

Wasn't sure the thread was going to make it before gametime. How much should we expect the starters to play tonight?

Wilkerson may see some extended time. They might send Moore out there on the OL. All the special teams specialists. Not much beyond that.

That's not what he ******* said. First he said 1029 games. When Otis looked at him he started stuttering and said days.

Oh yeah baby... We're about to see PLENTY of Kerley and Wilkerson tonight!

Brad Smith was replaced the second we drafted Kerley out of TCU, and I'm loving each and every moment of it. Also excited to see Wilkerson tonight. Hopefully he can impact/beast against Philly backups. Looks like Kyle Wilson is also playing tonight. Another kid who I really like.

This game sucks

We're down 7-0, got dominated, but I still enjoyed that 1st quarter watching our young players such as Greg McElroy, Joe McKnight, Jeremy Kerley, Jeff Cumberland, Vladimir Ducasse, Muhammad Wilkerson, Kenrick Ellis and Kyle Wilson. Now we're seeing some of Bilal Powell here in the 2nd quarter, and damn does T.J. Conley have a boot for a leg. I don't know, preseason games or not, I've always been a fan of watching our young players develope/improve.

Not only does Kerley look extremely quick, as expected, but he also looks FAST! One thing is for sure, McKnight and Kerley bring much needed speed/explosiveness to our offense. On a side note, Vlad is lost as a RT. He looks absolutely atrocious out there in pass protection. And I'll tell you what, Jeff Cumberland is something in the making.

I may hate the Patriots with a passion, but I loved (feared) what they did with both rookie TE's in Hernandez and Gronk last season, so much so, where I made sure to draft Gronkowski last night during my fantasy draft. We all know what we have in Keller, which is a very good pass catching TE, but Jeff Cumberland has impressed as well. He's been one of, if not the most productive pass catching TE during this year's preseason. Hopefully we'll see both Keller and Cumberland used in the same types of ways that the Patriots were able to use Gronk and Hernandez last season. One thing is for sure, for being 6'4, Cumberland is very fast with solid hands. 40 times may be overrated, but it's nice to know we have a 6'4 TE who runs the 40 time in 4.5 seconds.
