AFJF
Hurt his ankle playing on a trampoline with his kid. Cashman says season is in doubt, can't comment on the injury being career threatening or not.

THE ILK
What a shame, he lost enough blood to where his life was in danger.
GimmeShelter
huge loss for our bullpen if this is true feel so bad for the guy I wouldn't go that for but still tough break for Joba. Who would of thought 3-4 years ago that Ian Kennedy would be head and shoulders having the better career out of him, Joba and Hughes.
JetsFanInDenver
Sad news. Its just unbelievable that someone can destroy their career by such foolishness and lack of even basic discipline. Why would someone as big as Joba be on a trampoline. Just sad!
Morrissey
mistake sure, but I can't fault the man for playing with his son. i can only imagine how he feels right now lying in a hospital bed. this is his livelihood. fortunately he got some good news today. things don't look as bleak. Maxman
This is brutal...you hear about this freak stuff and you always want to blast the player. But he was with his son...can't blame him and just have to hope he is okay.

Scott Dierking
I see that Chamberlain made his first rehab appearance last night, going an inning. I have a lot of respect for this guy, pushing himself so hard to get back so soon. It would have been very easy just to call this year finished.
