pointman
I was going to make this thread too... but was serious. He is smart, plays well in the pocket, can roll out. Whats his weakness? No monster power? Guess what, Sanchez doesn't throw down field and Tebow can't hit an open receiver.

T0mShane
The Eagles have sh*tloads of talented young dudes on their roster. That McElroy is moving the team against them isn't entirely insignificant.

T0mShane
+1 You know that bullsh*t party line the Sanchez apologists spout, "all we need is for him to be competent"? McElroy is already competent.
dbatesman
You know hat bullsh*t party line the Sanchez apologists spout, "all we need is for him to be competent"? McElroy is already competent. Yeah. The arm is a serious problem, but he seems to be able to go through progressions, which puts him head and shoulders above anyone on the roster. I don't see why he couldn't be a poor man's Ryan Fitzpatrick--which is sort of depressing, but, again, head and shoulders.

Kentucky Jet
Yeah. Seems to me that the pundits and experts all said that Brady had a weak arm too. How did that turn out?
jetsjetsjetss
the thing i love about him is that he played what we should be playing like in college. He played on a team that said dont you dare turn the ball over and let your defense and running game do the work. Can we let him do that on the jets? BroadwayJoe12
Seems to me that the pundits and experts all said that Brady had a weak arm too. How did that turn out? Just have him PED it up like Brady did and he'll be all set.
