SenorGato
Was sitting in section 308 (millionaires' section) and watched him all game. Guy was a mover and a shaker. Made plays against the run, would draw the RB to his side on passing plays, took on double teams, batted a pass down, had to walk away with a handful of pressures at least...The Raiders definitely noticed him, probably focused on him more than anyone not named Wilkerson on the D. Another DL thing - Damon Harrison is one hell of an athlete. He holds his 350 as if he's fifty or sixty pounds lighter.

Imagine if he makes the same jump from year 2 to year 3 that Wilkerson has, and Richardson makes the jump from year 1 to year 2 like a JJ Watt did, with Harrison, and Ellis the Dline will be even better next year, QB's might have to plant on the 3rd step, and fire if they don't want to get crushed, and forget running the ball. We will be doing away with Cromartie, and Milliner hasn't shown he can be a good man to man cover corner, so next year IF Rex Ryan is still our HC it might be time to go full blown exotic zone schemes like he uses against Brady, and let the big men up front force bad throws, and with guys looking in at the play instead of running behind the play visually we could really see a big bump in INT's! SenorGato
Oh well Gato watched a player he likes and says that player is good so there you go. Nah dude, everyone sucks. This is a 2-4 win team having a disappointing 6 win season through 13 games! I'm only coming at you dawgs with science and facts. Get 'em all outta here and make way for Bevell to plant his coaching tree on the sideline.

Integrity28
I'm glad someone on this site actually watches how players contribute, rather than just looking at the stat sheet and making assumptions. I wish Gato could be more like that.

SenorGato
He can play...he just isnt an OLB. He played standing up alot yesterday, and looked good. I don't think he's a superstar talent at either DE or OLB, but he looks like a good, solid starter moving forward. An updated Shaun Ellis - set to catch crap for not being a superstar as he chugs along to a long, very productive career.

If we knew we'd be going Mo, Coples, Sheldon in consecutive drafts...he'd be the re-do. But again this falls on Rex. All he wants is linemen and corners...this is never going to change. I guess Chandler Jones Anyway, linemen and corners aren't bad non-QB positions to prioritize. They're probably THE non-QB positions to prioritize these days. He is terrible coming off the edge--really good rushing up the middle. He was pretty good eating up centers and guards before this LB stuff started. I think his strongest point this year has been against the run. Always seems to get involved there from what I recall And 308 ain't a bad spot. Next time you're up there, holla at 314. All over the field making an impact on many aspects of the game. They probably played him at every position on the front 7 yesterday other than ILB. Learning a new position, coming off a high ankle sprain...its not crazy to think we're starting to see the true Q.

Having suffered through that sometimes they say sprains can linger and be worse but either way we are talking about a guy coming back from a broken leg and dominating in week 13.
