billo83
How in the world is anyone trading for mallet? WTH has he done? Yeah that's what I was thinking. The compensation pick can't be that much. What was mallet drafted at?
CotcheryifyouCan
Mallet has a cannon, was a very good college qb (forced some throws ), and o'brian is familiar with him from his time with the pats. Could be a good move
Kleckineau
How in the world is anyone trading for mallet? WTH has he done? He hasnt done anything because thats what hapens when your are #2 behind a HOF QB. However, the guy has a bazooka for an arm and would have been a 1st round pick, maybe top 10 if he hadnt smoked crack and got drunk alot down in Arkansas. He could be way better than Glennon. PatriotReign37
No, I think Cassel ruined that. And Bledsoe. Buffalo had a parade when they got him.
PatriotReign37
How in the world is anyone trading for mallet? WTH has he done? Cleaned up his image in NE. He was talked about as a 1st round pick until character issues came out. At times hes looked good in pre season, but not great. He needs experience before you can call him a bust. PFSIKH
And Bledsoe. Buffalo had a parade when they got him. Bledsoe started to tarnish it, but Cassell put the finsihing touches on it. I agree. He has shown he is JAG.
Latinlawyer
Bottom line is that if you can get value from Mallett via a trade, you do it. Take a draft pick in 2015 if you want, but you do it. Mallett is not Brady's heir, and the Pats will be looking for a QB that can learn from Brady and then continue that excellent level of play. Look as a Jets fan, I hate Brady. However, you have to respect that guy, he is one hell of a QB and the Pats would not be perrenial Division champ without him. LL
