well once again, it's looking like the Jets will get a top 10 pick with no real franchise qb coming out.

Who's the best D-Lineman coming out?

Ya sucks, when we get in position to maneuver for top QB there is no one. Some asshat QB will put great #s up at Underwear Olympics (Combine) and we will fall for it (Gholston)

Ya the OL got crappy fast. You could see it last year really starting to age/gain weight (mangold, did he eat a Horse?), but we need to rebuild that OL ASAP

Yes we do.Three times on Sunday we had 3rd and 2 or less, and threw it every time.If that doesn't tell what the coaches think of the line, nothing will.

The Jets desperately need an elite edge rusher.  In my opinion that is even more important than the 2014 Saints secondary they are trotting out on Sundays.

That said, the Jets are in need of upgrades at probably 11 of the 22 starting spots... including the most important position.  Maybe moving Revis to FS will eliminate one of those.

Seriously almost every position.

QB for sure.

but almost every offensive position.  We need new number one WRs, rbs, TEs, 5 new OL.  We need speed edge rushers, pass rushing OLB, run stuffing ILBs, 2 new cbs, a free safety a nose tackle if we go back to the 3-4.  Large amounts of new special teams players including a young gunner.

Most of this teams nucleus is going to be gone within 2-3 years and we have very little youth other than specialist lbers, a possible number 2 wr and defensive tackles.

QB and Edge Rusher - by far the 2 toughest positions to hit on.  So they wont try.  They took Maudlin and Jenkins in back to back year.  They took Petty and Hack in back to back years and we all know Fitz is starting again next season.

So instead of the QB and OLB, why not rebuild the OL and secondary?

I am hopeful, call me crazy, that Petty may be the answer at Qb, and hopefully the FO will get enough info on him to know whether or not they need to go Qb in the first round or not, so putting that aside for the moment...

Next up, I hate go again for D, but I would have to say at this point CB is the top need, OL second.

The failure of the Milliner pick cannot be understated as to its significance.  The sixth pick in that draft is not even on the roster anymore.  Wow.  How bad does it get...

I am starting to think that if you are one of those teams without a franchise QB, you use your first pick to pick the best QB on the board regardless of what round you have them graded.

And then, if there is a good value QB on your board later in the draft, you pick another one.

That may have been how the Broncos (Super Bowl Winner) looked at it.  Maybe the Jets did too and did not have Lynch rated that high, but had Hack rated that high.

That should be one of two exceptions to the BPA rule, the other being that you already have a surplus at the position the BPA plays (unless you intend on trading other surplus).

As opposed to the oh-so-better strategy of our recent predecessor  of drafting seven guys who will be off our team in four years and still no QB?

7 QB's with the high chance of 5-6 of them being useless compared to trying to fix the other glaring holes on offense while still going for a #1 round QB? There isn't nearly enough time for 7 rookie QB's to be evaluated and developed in one season. Hack barely got a rep when we carried four and you're okay with 7 lol. Go play Franchise mode on Madden.

OL is the main concern, although the play of the OL this year has been surprisingly well. The rotating LG has worked pretty well.

Honestly, CB/S and QB would be my watched positions.

WR- Fine

TE- If ASJ continues to play well, we're set there

RB- Might be a mid level concern, unless Leonard Fournette is there

DL- Fine

LB- Draft an OLB to add with our young players and we will be solid
