Grandy
To be fair, our last 5 are pretty darn good.

Actually, with the exception of Blair Thomas, they all were pretty good picks. Sure Brady wasn’t good value with Sapp still on the board and Sanchez never improved to become our long term at QB, but it’s a hell of a lot better than the last 10defensive first rounders. Adams, Lee, Williams, Pryor, Richardson, Milliner, Coples, Wilkerson, Wilson, Gholston. Game changers, MAYBE Williams and Adams, the rest are at best JAGs and at worst, complete and utter busts. I would take the last 10 offensive players over the last 10 defensive players without a second thought.
Pcola
The author forgot about Dustin Keller. If you add Keller and remove Blair Thomas, the offensive list is way more impressive than whet we have been drafting as of late.

Problem is you have to go back over 25 years for the last 10 offensive players, but only 10 years for 10 defensive players.
HessStation
It's actually not as horrible as I thought it'd be opening the link. The last compete disaster was 1992. I'm more forgiving of QB picks. i.e. They needed a QB and Sanchez was the best on the board, I get it.

Plus when you factor in the 4 1st rd picks in 2000, only 10 of the last 30 picks have been offensive.

Exactly. Which is why the thread topic is asinine to begin with. But it's from the king of cut, paste and stupid sitcom gif. Maybe queen, but no one knows for sure. rangerous
it's an interesting topic. the nfl goes pass happy and instead of getting offensive skill players they go for defensive players. not saying all of the defensive picks were bad, there are quite a few borderline hall of famers, but you still need the players who can pass, catch and run with the ball. BigO
First 2 picks this draft should be QB, OL, Then next 3 need to be edge, cb, rb. These are the greatest needs pretty much in that order.
Larz
So in the last 10 years, sanchise was the only offensive player taken in the fist round Holy sh*t
BurnleyJet
I'm surprised Jets fans did not realise this. Plus we only go O when we are in panic mode like now. Dont worry people, the D will be back in 2019, because the new QB does not need stinking weaponz. Im thinking a big slow 3-4 End who does not create sacks, or a Safety/Linebacker hybrid. No wait what..
Jetster
Teams with very good offenses even got better! Saints drafted Kamara, Jets drafted Stewart. It's almost like we have no idea what we're even looking for in offensive players?
Freemanm
Mangold and Ferguson are the two main reasons we went to back to back AFCCGs and had the top five rushing offense in both of those years. Santana Moss was part of the dumbest move ever made by a GM, even for the Jets, when they let Lavernues Coles sign with the Skins, then traded Moss to the Skins to get him back.
