Aside from the usual suspects your guess is as good as mine. Preseason  they will showcase themselves easier to pick a stranger out of a crowd, if you will.

Heard some good things about Jeff Smith but there isn't a ton of film on him.  Dortch I think is a cinch to make the team.  Wake Forrest's offensive output went to crap when he wasn't on the field.

Wow. There are people here who think Siemian won't make the team? I think Webb and Falk are longshots to make the roster at all with no chance of beating out Siemian.

As of now, 17 people have voted, 14 voted that Siemian makes the roster. Ty Montgomery has 17 votes. I voted for Montgomery to make the team, too (obviously), but I think Siemian is more of a lock than Ty is.

The guy has great speed but he never returned a punt in college, which was a warning sign about his hands.  If he is not a major special teams contributor he is vulnerable because his size won't get him a ton of snaps at RB.  I am guessing that Dortch, even though he is a WR, will end up taking his roster spot because of his versatility on special teams.

I think Webb beats out Siemian and they only carry 2... JMHO... I think Siemian is ok and experienced but Webb is actually a good QB that will flash in Preseason.

I think Dortch makes the Roster... Cannon is a long shot now that they signed Powell... I liked Cannon's potential but he was too much of a reliability when he was out there. maybe he is still eligible for PS but if not he is a goner... I was hoping Jalin Moore would take his spot before he got injured... tough break...

Siemian is not only way better than Webb he’s one of the better backup qbs in the nfl

Trevor Siemian is a pretty decent backup QB.  I must admit.  He's shown he can run an offense for a period of time.  It's not like he was Clipboard Jesus.

My understanding is that he can come off the list at any time - he doesn't have to spend all year on the NFI list

I think Webb makes the team as a third, doubt he makes the roster of they carry only 2 Qbs

So we're still high on Deontay Burnett I see.  From the point I'm reading this he has more votes than anybody else that's not obviously going to make the team. 

Is it really just the USC connection? the fact that he has had a few catches here or there last year? His age?

What got my attention about Burnett is one of the pre-draft highlight videos of Sam from 2018. In it, it seemed like every highlight play/throw they showed Sam make, Burnett was at the other end making a great catch.

I only selected 5 WRs (Q, Crowder, Robby, Burnett + 1 other) because I think Gase may look to use Montgomery as a WR more than he was used in GB. A RB/WR hybrid assuming he can stay healthy.

Dortch is a better KR, definitely a better PR and WR so he should replace Cannon.

Sam has a connection with him and he ended the year well so I picked him as one of the guys who makes it.

Agree. Most likely scenario to me seems like we carry two QBs on the 53 with Siemian as the only backup.

With Mac gone Webb is likely practice squad fodder.

At WR I think Robby, Enunwa and Crowder are locks with every other spot up for grabs entirely. The new administration has zero loyalty to anyone, I think we'll see several former draft picks or names fans are familiar with dumped for randos.

I agree with this but add Josh Bellamy given his add as a free agent.
