Jimmy 2 Times
This is going to be a power running football team this year. It would’ve been nice to add a vet in the caliber of Woods, but not necessary. They do need to add at least two more receivers to the current roster though and hopefully one is a higher draft pick.

Douglas stated the Jets were KEEPING and PLAYING Denzel in 2022. In all likelihood the Jets will draft at least one WR next month. Add that to the exist WR Corp of Davis, Moore, Berrios and how many snaps would a guy like Wood actually see if the Jets did acquire him ? It makes far more sense to sign a guy like Keelan Cole to a one year deal. Cole has been playing for Mike LaFleur. But even signing Cole reaps marginal benefit. I think this is correct, whether people here agree or disagree. Same with Becton. Douglas still has hopes for Mims, which would explain his unwillingness to dump a big contract on a guy like Robinson or Cooper. Not saying it's the best idea, but that appears to be the strategy. Perhaps Mims will show up this year. He's got the athletic talent, but he seems slow to learn and has to wean off of body catches. The project will continue.
Joe W. Namath
Robert Woods would of been a wr 5 here. He wouldnt be playing over davis, moore, whatever rookie we draft at 10 or in the slot over berrios. No need to whine about missing out on a wr5. YankeeJet22
All JD has to do is draft 2 guys. No need to get into naming them. We all know the candidates. Then you'd have 5 + Mims. Done. No need to sign a 2nd tier FA. A 3rd tier FA that's cheap znd cuttable? Sure go ahead. But JD knows he can roll into the season with those 6 guys. neckdemon
sounds like the rams were trying to do right by woods here. i mean most likely the jets weren't even a consideration. man you guys can't just complain about every player that goes somewhere else
IndianaJet
There's lots and lots for us to bitch about with this team. Not trading for a 30 year old WR due $14 million this year (which becomes fuyll guaranteed on 3/21) and coming off a major knee injury seems like an odd hill to die on.

Mims WILL get one more shot to produce this season. After that the team will move on. That doesn't preclude the Jets from taking a WR in the first two rounds of the draft but who ever they take will not see much in the way of snaps in the first half of the season. This year's crop of Wide Receivers doesn't have any prospects that are NFL Ready like JaMarr Chase. They will have to be groomed.

Lol at any jets fans thinking we’re too good for AJ Green He'll be 34 years old before the season starts, and got those numbers playing in an Air-Raid offense after being thrust into the no. 1 role when DeAndre Hopkins went down in week 8. Ask Cardinals fans what they think of A.J. Green. They'll tell you he's slow, washed, and still can't stay healthy for a whole 16 games (something he hasn't done since 2017). His two best games were a blowout win against the Jaguars: and a loss to the Rams that was never really as close as final the score indicated: Lol at any Jets fans who pine for the days of Mike Tannenbaum's name chasing ways. Remember the last time we signed a slow, tall, washed up, 34 year old veteran WR?
Hal N of Provo
The WRs were bad last season and all they have done is lost 2 experienced guys who were worlds better than the players below them on last season’s depth chart. If there is a big trade before the draft I think it will be for a WR
