CoachTsurfing
any of those players at the four spot I would cheer about. Except Cutler. while I'm not opposed to taking him. I don't think he is worth the fourth pick overall.
Shadetree
When the Jets pick, the cheering will rock Radio City Music Hall to it's very core when Tags announces........ SoFlaJets
I'm kinda hoping beyond hope that Leinart falls to us at 4-but highly doubt it with his OC from college sitting there 1 pick ahead of us.D'Brick seems like the logical choice to me and pretty much has since the draft order was announced at seasons end
124
If we draft Vince Young then you should expect a lot of booing on draft day all over Jets Nation aside from maybe 10 people in our entire fan base. A.J. Hawk, a lot of people like him, my jury is still out on him but picking him would be OK. Trading down for Minnesota's 1 and 2 2's would be pretty sweet if D'Brick is taken at 2, same goes for Denver's 15 and 22.

Not only use the expletive, but then step away from the podium and flex like a body builder while screaming at the top of his lungs with angry face. As a matter of fact, it's what I expect to see. NorthCoastJetsFan
Cutler or Leinart warrant beer throwing in my eyes My beer is safe, I've already thrown too many beers watching the Jets draft. I am in the process of building a protective case for my TV in case we draft another guy named Hiram Sklaboink in the first round.

L.I.MikeBleedsGreen
Well I guess my beer is not safe ,b/c when we pick vince young with the 4th pick! I'll be shaking my beer and spraying it all over the guys on this board that said they don't want him.So after my beer is gone i have to buy another for the toast when he gets us back to the AFC championship and wins it for us:cheers:

I agree. Plus if you've heard - Mike Green from ESPN has stated that if Leinert is available at 4 & we don't take him, he will lead a charge to the JETS table with a pitchfork & a Torch! Besides, you'll never reach them with BEER: No alcohol will be sold at Radio City Music Hall You would have to have a hose & a keg in order to reach the podium - it's just too far! They do not allow alcohol in the building! Like I said, I agree - we all cheer if it's: Matt Leinert D'brickshaw Ferguson Mario Williams Reggie Bush Any REASONABLE trade Or AJ Hawk (Still can't see Cutler or even Vince Young with the JETS)

Really.:Cuss: Substitute AJ Hawk for Cutler and drop the 2 trade options and I'm on board. Hawk's a player. As I've said along, I think he'd be a good fit for the Jets and the 3-4. CluJet
Jay Cutler will be the best quarterback in this year's draft. I won't argue with that, but realistically, I don't see Mannenbaum taking a QB in round 1 this year. I think they will choose Mario or Hawk, and stock up on OL with 29 and 35.
