To me the most eyebrow raising moment was when he said "when the team loses, we're al losers. I suck, Joe Douglas sucks..." I get the context but it not only was too much it was at the owner's meeting....not post-game after an emotional loss where the reporters are blaming him for not going for it on 4th down.

When he was hired, it was reported that he signed a 5-year contract.  He's 3 seasons in, so should be under contract for the 2024 and 2025 seasons.

Just a friendly reminder that the last time baseless rumors got peddled regarding “internal dysfunction” based on “30 individual sources”, this was the end result for those who get their information from the voices inside their heads:

Saleh can go and we can promote Ulbrich for all I care but if a head coach, in a “must-win” season, got into a heated and awkward fight with the owner of the team he coaches for, at a private/NFL organized party, does anyone seriously believe for one second that all of the big-name NFL reporters would just let Colleen Wolf of all people get that exclusive scoop to peddle on her podcast?

Sure thing. I can tell you the following:

The last time someone came to the defense of the media on what was going on internally with the Jets, what I heard was correct, and what Russini/Rosenblatt heard was wrong.  That person decided to white-knight for them because they get off on being miserable, and decided to make it personal.  Turns out, *WHOOPSIE*, they should have waited a bit before deciding to be a d*ck to me because it’s very clear that those 2 reporters speak to absolutely no one with credibility in that building.  So, with that being said, I’m done with the passive attitude and am going to defend myself going forward.   Let’s keep the train moving then, shall we?

When Tyron Smith was talking to the Jets, I posted it here 2-3 days before the signing was official, while Rosenblatt was telling Jets fans that it wasn’t going to happen and to keep our eyes on the draft for a rookie LT.

When the Jets were talking to Mike Williams, scheduling a visit, and feeling great about their chances, I posted it here before that was made official.  Rosenblatt was, again, standing by his sources that told him the Jets weren’t likely going to land him.

That’s just this off-season.  Do you want me to keep going, or is my point abundantly clear now?
