I figured they’d get a better return than this but the writings been on the wall for a while.

This frees up more cap space to continue adding to the team and also start extensions for key players like MCII.

I’ll be curious to see what they do next. I could easily see Justin Simmons getting a 1 year deal from the Jets now

His cap hit was $16M and we didn’t have enough space to pay our draft  picks. In a world where Reddick is traded for a 2026 3rd not sure what you were expecting
