PAtriots - Falcons predictions

The Patriots are...

...D O O M E D !!!

Falcons 69

Patriots 0

Belichick gets caught using cyborgs and each of the 31 other owners unanimously vote to ban him from the game "unless" he agrees to come coach for them. From coast to coast members of the media rejoice and throw the largest douche-bag party ever and then they all tragically die from extreme alcohol poisoning. The next day world peace is achieved, dollar bills start growing on trees and everyone lives happily ever after.

If dollar bills started growing on trees, the dollar bill would become worthless. Economics fail.

And no, I don't have a sense of humor, in case you were wondering.

That's one of the leading symptoms for miniature penis syndrome. My condolences.

I really don't see the Pats losing this one... Falcons are doing well, but in NE, against a team that is PISSED, the Pats will come back, they have too much talent NOT to come back.

That being said, if they do lose... ouch... long season.

BZ

1-2 isn't the end of a season. i just can't count the pats out till they're actually out.

I just want to see if the Pats D can stop the Falcon passing game. They really struggled in the second half against the Jets and I don't see how they are going to cover Gonzalez over the middle and stop run. Use the run to set up play action, hit Gonzalez behind the LB's and see what may happen

Ryan had a fine rookie season and is getting all sorts of manlove for the two extra preseason games this year, but road games against disciplined, well-coached teams packing a year of film are why sophomore slumps happen. The Falcons probably have too much firepower for New England to completely stop, but they hardly need to because Brady is going to shoot the lights out on that secondary. The Patriots will win and cover.

This is basically how I see it. Pats are coming home to lick their wounds and get back on track, while the Falcons just happen to be the team that has to deal with that. Atlanta offers the Pats some matchup problems, but the Pats should be able to score plenty, too. I expect a high scoring game.

This one may come down to who has the ball last, but it's tough to bet against the Pats at home in this situation. They're down, but they still have a lot of pride.

You make some really good points. I think though that Bellichik, as I've been hearing likes to take two of your three things away on offense. I think he'll actually have a similar gameplan come sunday that they had this prior weekend. I think he puts 7 to 8 guys in the Box to stop the ATL strong running game, and also, I think he attempts to eliminate Tony G from the offensive threat. How exactly he will go about doing this?? I have no idea, because putting a Safety on him isn't viable because they're too far away from the line of scrimmage and too small to guard and knock TOny G around.

Also, the Falcons really do not have the personnel, nor necessarily the coaching, to blitz in the same manner that we did. And, if it wasn't obvious before (Superbowl vs. Giants) Tom Brady gets flustered when he gets knocked around. I just don't think that other than Abraham, the pass rush is going to get there without Brady getting the ball out first. I guess a lot of that relies on Welker actually playing (pu$$y). Also, who's going to shut down Randy Moss, because they don't have a shutdown corner, and Moss can't be a shutdown corner against himself, even though he thinks he could be a Shutdown Corner lol!!!!

Pats 24 - Falcons 21

Welker is arguably the best slot receiver in the league, but he doesn't amount to a 14 point swing. Nice way to justify the Jets beating the Pats though.

With that being said, I don't see the NE losing to ATL at home.

34-24 Patsies.

If Welker is 100% ......

Pats 38 - 21

If Welker is out ......

Pats 27-24

i knwo it's been said already but........

edelman was just as good as welker...and your offense didn't miss him in the jets game.

i mean seriously the guy had 3 td's last year. where do you come up with an 11 point swing on offense with welker instead of edelman?

and what'd even funnier is that for some reason the falcons lose 3 points with welker playing? enough is enough already.

after seeing edelman come in and do the exactl same thing withthe same success that wlker does.....i have to completely disagree. welker's overrated......he's mostly a product of the team he plays on.

Agreed-

But Most Patriot players are a product of their environment.

If you take any Patsie player off the team 90% of them would end up in gay porn, not just kissing BB's rings but probably sucking them too.
