This crap is actually being spun on NFL.com now?

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady played with a stress fracture in his right foot that, according to a source with knowledge of the situation, became significant over the course of the 2010 season.

The source said Wednesday that this was "no trivial injury" and it became "very, very painful in the middle of the season."

Comcast SportsNet New England first reported Brady's ailment and described it as "not so much an injury as a condition."

The injury predates Brady's reconstructive knee surgery and caused the quarterback to miss time during 2008 training camp. The problems caused by the injury subsided after Brady injured his knee, and he played through the 2009 season with "no problems" in the foot at all, the source said. Brady also didn't have an issue with the foot during the 2010 offseason, but it "really flared up in the fall," according to the source.

The injury is the reason Brady missed Wednesday practices every week starting Nov. 7 through the end of the regular season and was limited on various other occasions. Brady's condition did improve to the point where he was fine for the Patriots' playoff game last Sunday, but it's an injury with which the quarterback must continue to deal.

The condition is considered more serious than what New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning has played through, but less serious than Brett Favre's foot injury, since Brady's is non-arthritic.

A league source told the Boston Globe on Wednesday that Brady plans to play in the Pro Bowl on Jan. 30 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Brady was the top vote-getter for the annual all-star game.

Maybe it needs to be amputated.

I believe the average TOmShane has never had a stress fracture in his foot. but if he did Bart Scott would help.

:D I'm just saying that you could x-ray the feet of everybody in this thread and most of us would have stress fractures in our feet from basic wear and tear. Tom Brady is being a vagillio-monster!!

man i hate this little pecker he hasn't won a SB in 6 years and hasn't EVER won one w/o cheating

In light of the Pats rule violation of failing to put this injury on their weekly report for all 17 weeks and the playoffs, fines and possible loss of draft picks should be forthcoming.

I'm just saying I would X-ray your feet anytime you like right after I wash them with lavender water and Bart Scott wouldn;t mind at all. Tom Brady's feet are fine, and I do mean fine. His vag is full of sand though.

There will be no loss of picks, there's absolutely no precedent for that as far as I know. Let's not forget, it was only two years ago the Jets were fined for injury report violations due to not reporting Favre's shoulder injury. I would expect any league fines would be similar to what the Jets received, which in all honesty would make sense.

Too late. He did already.

and all 17 weeks of 2009 and week 1 of 2008...

I like how they spin it to "not an injury, but a condition". He missed time, it must have been at least a little owie.

Funny, I don't remember the Pats' opponents being privy to this info from the weekly injury reports. Yet everyone else is required to disclose broken bones.

So it was serious enough to not practice until Thursdays every week, but not serious enough to warrant inclusion in the team's injury reports?

This disgusting team will never stop cheating.

It wasn't an injury Sperm, it was a "condition."

I wonder if Brady refers to his homosexual tendencies as a "condition" as well?

Broncos under Shanahan were hit with a heavy fine for not disclosing injuries. Shanahan being a nut then put practically the whole team on the injury report each week to show what a dick he is. he continues to do that with the Skins.

The whole idea of the injury report is about gambling. The NFL does not want to be embarrassed by anyone associated with a team dislcosing injuries on the sly and making it look like someone bet based on inside information. The NFL woudl never admit that, but that is in fact the reality.
